Privacy Policy

Effective July 12, 2026

The short version

Personal PITA collects no data. Period. No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, no servers. Everything you create in the app stays on your iPhone.

What the app stores

Your projects, tasks, needed items, reminders, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's CoreData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export a project using the share sheet — and then it goes only where you send it.

Microphone and speech recognition

Personal PITA asks for microphone and speech recognition permission so it can transcribe your voice into projects and tasks. Transcription is performed by Apple's speech recognition service built into iOS. Depending on your device and iOS settings, Apple may process audio on your device or on Apple's servers — this is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

The app itself never uploads, stores, or shares your recordings. Audio files you import are read, transcribed, and released.

What we don't do

Your data, your control

Because everything lives on your device, deleting the app deletes all of its data. There's nothing to request, download, or ask us to erase — we never had it.

Children's privacy

Personal PITA does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy (for example, adding optional iCloud sync), this policy will be updated here before that version ships, with a new effective date.
