How do I get started?
- Create: Start with one project and add the first task or due date.
- Capture: Type tasks or tap Record Thoughts to use Voice Basic.
- Review: Edit anything speech recognition misheard, then tap Save All.
- Track: Check off work, add reminders or blockers, and archive completed projects.
What is included in Free?
Every feature in the current app is included, including Voice Basic, projects and tasks, reminders, imports, export, and archive. Pro is planned as an optional one-time upgrade for future power features; it is not available for purchase yet, and nothing in this version is locked.
How do the Voice Basic trigger words work?
Say "project" followed by a name to start a project, and "end project" to close the title. Say "task" followed by a description to log a task, and "end task" to close it. Say "project" again to switch to another project in the same recording.
Customize all four words in Settings → Voice Basic. Add a recognition-fix variant only when the mic consistently hears an exact phrase differently.
How do I import from Voice Memos?
Open a recording in Voice Memos, tap Share, and choose Personal PITA. You can also open the dashboard ⋯ menu, choose Import Audio, and select an .m4a, .mp3, .wav, or .caf file.
How do I review and repair a voice capture?
Edit any project or task directly on the review screen. If the structure is wrong, choose Edit Transcript & Rescan, fix a missing or misheard trigger word, and scan again. If several saved tasks were joined together, open the task's ⋯ menu and choose Split into Tasks.
Why didn't my recording create anything?
Voice Basic needs to hear a trigger word to structure the recording. Check Settings → Voice Basic and speak the project and task words clearly. Tasks spoken before a project word are still captured under an "Untitled" project.
How do reminders work?
Open a project and expand Reminders. Choose daily, weekly, or biweekly and set Gentle, Normal, or Persistent intensity. Daily and weekly reminders arrive at 9:00 AM. Biweekly reminders repeat every 14 days from the time you enable them.
Where is my data stored?
Your projects and tasks live on your iPhone. There are no accounts or cloud sync. Apple may process speech to provide transcription, depending on device and language support. See the Privacy Policy for details.
